Becerra-Sanchez, Jose F. "Pepe" age 70 of Stanhope at rest in Hackensack on June 12, 2021. Loving Father of Cheryl Becerra and her fiancé Kico of Stanhope. Dear grandfather of Ashlee Rose Becerra-Quinones. Brother of Juan R. Becerra of Paterson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his beloved pet dogs, Panther and Taz. Born in Lima, Peru, he came to the United States in 1972 residing in New York, NY, then the Bronx and Paterson, NJ before moving to Stanhope 5 years ago. He was a maintenance employee for the Passaic County Courthouse, Paterson for the past 18 years. Jose was a humorist and he loved all genres of music. He was a very giving person and would help anyone who was in need. He was a very lovable soul who passed from this earth. He especially adored his granddaughter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Committal to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM
