Obituary of Olga Rizio Malone

Malone, Olga (nee Rizio), age 93 of Woodland Park at rest in Wayne on May 16, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William Malone. Loving aunt to 8 surviving nieces and nephews and 20 surviving great nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for 40 years before moving to Woodland Park. She was a clerk for the Passaic County Courthouse, Paterson for 30 years before retiring in 1995. She also worked as a waitress at Sam's Maple Grove, Lincoln Park for 30 years. Mrs. Malone was a member of the Sweet Adeline's singing group, Paterson. She was also a member of the local senior citizen's group in Little Falls. When she was younger, she was an opera singer and she would travel around the country to perform. She loved to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project as well as various children's charities. She was a member of the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge #2111, as well as the former President of their Ladies Auxiliary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 8:30 - 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516, would be appreciated.
