Regalado, Maria Teresa (nee Alvarado) age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on May 11, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Segundo Regalado. Loving mother of Edgar Regalado of Paterson, Hernan Regalado and his wife Marcella of Paterson, Robert Regalado and his wife Paula of Pompton Lakes, and Jackie Regalado and her husband David Acevedo of Englewood. Dear step mother of Jorge Regalado and his wife Elizabeth of North Plainfield. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Born in Pelileo, Ecuador, she came to the United States in 1970 residing in Paterson. Maria was a Primary Education Teacher in Milagro, Ecuador before emigrating to the USA. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM.
