Stansfield, Joan A. (nee Jakubowski) age 72 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on May 10, 2021. Loving mother of her only son, Michael P. Stansfield and his wife, Cindy of Totowa. Joan is also survived by several dear friends and her beloved cat, Dusty. Born in Bayonne, she lived in Bayonne before moving to Paterson 7 years ago. She was a Drug & Alcohol Counselor for Straight & Narrow, Paterson for 26 years retiring in 2012. Cremation was private at the request of the family. A memorial gathering will take place at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 PM, with a prayer service at 3:45 PM. Donations in her memory are requested to Straight & Narrow and/or The Lupus Foundation.
