Obituary of Helen M Belle

Belle, Helen M. (nee Fierro), age 91 of Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twp. on April 11, 2021. Beloved wife of Seventy one years to the late Robert M. Belle (2020). Loving mother of Marie Bush and her long time companion Vinnie Sodano of Essex Fells and the late Barbara Schneider (2015). Dear grandmother of David Schneider, J.R. Schneider, Jason Schneider, Jesse Bush, John Bush and Chrissy De Vries. Great grandmother of Taylor Schneider, Sam Altana, Maria, Ava and Greta Schneider, Cassidy and Chloe Bush and Charli DeVries. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson until 1980, then Clifton until 1991, then Lincoln Park before moving to Pompton Plains three years ago. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Belle spent her life taking care of her husband and family, and enjoyed any time spent with them. She was a great seamstress and made clothing for her children as well as draperies, etc. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was the loving caretaker for much of her extended family. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially during the holidays when she would distribute her Christmas cookies. She was a very friendly and outgoing person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral arrangements and services will be private at the request of the family.
