Obituary of Thomas E. Fierro

Fierro, Thomas E. age 62 of Haledon at rest in Paterson on April 14, 2021. Beloved husband of 31 years of Jo Anne (nee LaBarck) Fierro of Haledon. Loving father of Thomas J. Fierro of Wayne, and Ronald T. Fierro of Haledon. Dear brother of Lawrence Fierro Jr. and his wife Valerie of North Haledon, Anthony Fierro of Fair Lawn, Laurie Leonard of Hawthorne, Nicole Fierro of Hawthorne, Vincent Fierro and his fiancée Cathy Cossari of Totowa, and the late Sissy Fierro. Beloved son of the late Judith (nee Savastano) and Ron Fierro, Sr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Paterson, he lived in Haledon for most of his life. He was a Production Control Manager for Tam Metal Products, Mahwah, for the past 25 years. Mr. Fierro loved coaching his two sons in soccer, basketball and baseball at the Haledon PAL. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his boys. He always followed his son's sporting careers all the way through high school and never missed a single game. He loved cooking for large groups, listening to "oldies" music and attending car shows. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
