Obituary of Melinda C Walsh

Walsh, Melinda C. (nee Morales), age 73 of Ringwood at rest in Pequannock Twp. on April 10, 2021. Beloved wife of thirty one years to Warren J. Walsh of Ringwood, formerly of Totowa. Loving sister of Gilberta Comeforo of Kingman, AZ., Arnold Morales of Kingman, AZ. and Joseph Morales of Lakewood, CO. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in the Bronx, New York, she lived in Staten Island, N.Y. before moving to Ringwood in 1977. She was a Payroll Administrator for Sanzari Inc., Hackensack. Mrs. Walsh attended the Hawthorne Gospel Church. She was a sixth Degree Black Belt in Okinowan Karate. She crafted bead bracelets and placed beads on camisoles and also for Operation Shoe Box for children. She was also an excellent cook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 7:15 PM. Friends may visit on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, 415 Crossways Park Drive D, Woodbury, New York 11797 would be appreciated. The family has chosen to schedule a memorial repast in the future when the pandemic is lifted.
