Obituary of Matthew Armando DeMarco

Matthew Armando DeMarco, age 28 from Woodland Park, formerly of Bloomfield passed away on April 9, 2021. Beloved son of Donna DeMarco and Matteo DeMarco. Dear grandson of Ada DeMarco and the late Armando DeMarco, Marion and William Snaith and his uncle Mauro DeMarco. Matthew is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew was employed with Data Scan as a Bank auditor. He had plans to return to school in the fall. Matthew was very compassionate, kind and enjoyed making others laugh. Matthew loved his dogs, Bella and Zucc and his cat, Principessa. Matthew also loved his Girlfriend Alex Korba. Matthew loved hockey and played for St. Peter's Prep and he played football for DePaul. His favorite hockey team was the New York Rangers and his favorite soccer team was AC Milan. Matthew was passionate about cars, Formula 1 Racing and his BMW Blanche, where he was always blasting music out of. Matthew enjoyed going down the shore and taking adventures with his mother, nonna and his cousins (sisters), Alexis, Francesca and Victoria Spina. He loved his cousin Joey Mascarelli who was like a brother to him. What Matthew loved most was his family. Matthew will be missed by so many. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 9:15 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
