Matthew, was an amazing human being with whom I and my family were truly blessed. He was an awesome legal mentor with a keen mind and the tenacity of a lion. We were fortunate to spend many bonding hours together in multiple settings, court, social events, family affairs and dining. We enjoyed baseball especially the Yankees and I was lucky to be with him at a Yankees game in their new stadium. Matt had a special nack for understanding human nature and genuinely cared about his and my family members, and always took the next step and acted on his sage advice. He was such an interesting conversationalist on a myriad of topics such that 3 hours with him seemed like minutes. He was a gifted wine connoisseur, acomplihed photographer and world traveler. I wouldn't dare gamble against him since he was sly as a fox, and knew all the angles. He was well organized too; every tool was in place every widget known to mankind was in a box and labelled in his garage. Although he was somewhat challenged by computers and cell phones, we always had a way of bridging that gap. He loved crossword puzzles and I was pleased that in his later years he was able to continue with the assistance of good doctors. It was never a dull moment with Matt. All of us should be so lucky to live a full, complete, long fruitful life. Although we mourn your loss of being with us on earth, we also rejoice in your reserection with your Creator.
