Garafano, Eleanor (nee Prunier), age 88 of Toms River at rest in Toms River on March 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Peter Garafano, Jr. Loving mother of Patricia Baiano & Mike of Toms River, Teresa Van Hefter of Toms River, Peter J. Garafano, III & Elena Panos of Toms River, and Daniel G. Garafano & Barbara of Lake Hiawatha. Dear sister of Mildred Scotellaro. Also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson and Totowa for most of her life, before moving to Florida, then to Toms River in 2015. She was a Bookkeeper for Peter Garafano & Son, Inc., Paterson for twenty-five years before retiring. Eleanor was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Wednesday 12:00-2:00 PM.
