Obituary of Rocco Savino

Savino, Rocco age 91 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on February 22, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Metzger) Savino (2006). Loving father of Tom Savino and his wife Trish of Pequannock. Dear grandfather of Tommy Savino and Kristi Savino. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson his entire life. He worked for the Wayne Board of Education, before retiring. Prior to that he worked for Purex Chemical Company, Paterson. Mr. Savino was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He volunteered at Yogi Berra Museum, Montclair. He was a member of the Holy Angels Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the Little Falls American Legion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center, 8 Yogi Berra Drive, Little Falls, NJ 07424 and /or the American Stroke Association/American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231, would be appreciated.
