Vargas, Edwin O. "Beanie" age 60 of Paterson at rest in Hackensack on February 18, 2021. Dear brother of Manuel Vargas, Jr., and his wife Annemarie of Maywood, Edgar Vargas and his wife Diana of Marlton, Margie Suter and her husband Greg of Lincoln Park, and Giselle Bousquet of Haskell. Special Cousin to Elia Batista of Orlando, Fl, Nasthia Carrasquillo and her husband Tito of NC and Steve Vargas, Jr. and his wife Christin Gabby of Clifton. Beloved grand uncle of Donato Calamusa. Beloved uncle to Danielle (KiKi) Vargas. Beloved uncle and godfather to Nicole Vargas, Alex Vargas and Emily Vargas. Beloved uncle of Vincent Vargas, Trevin, Cameron and Garrett Bousquet and Bryton and Logan Suter. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Paterson Catholic High School. He was a Truck Driver for Gaeta Recycling, Paterson for many years. Edwin was a parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and was a deer hunter and a very successful trout fisherman. He was very devoted to his late mother and cared for her all of her life. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and had the most generous heart and would do anything for anyone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 11:30 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. Michael's RC Church, Paterson at 12:00 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
