Caiola, Carmella (nee Sensale), age 81 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on February 14, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Caiola, Sr. (2020). Loving mother of Joseph Caiola and his wife Mary of Paterson, Kevin Caiola of Paterson, and the late Anthony Caiola (1959) and the late Keith V. Caiola (2020). Grandmother of Anthony, Joey, Amanda, and Teresa. Great-grandmother of Kaiden. Dear sister of Pasquale Sensale of Clark. Cousin of Salvatore Nigro of Fair Lawn. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Caiola was a lifelong parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, as well as a member of its Rosary Society. She was the first recipient of the Vivere Christus Award. She was the past President of the St. Gerard Fundraising Committee. She was also a member of the St. Gerard Home & School Association, and the St. Gerard Seniors. Carmella also ran the St. Gerard Carnival for many years. A memorial mass will take place at a later date at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gerard R.C. Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson, NJ would be appreciated.
