Obituary of Elizabeth Mae Erdmann

Erdmann, Elizabeth Mae (nee Janke), "Betty" age 83 of Paterson at rest in Pequannock on February 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William G. Erdmann (2003). Loving mother of Betty Ann Lutz and her husband Stephen of Lawton, Michigan and Terry Lutz and her husband Joseph of Ringwood. Dear grandmother of Marybeth Hartman and her husband Phil, Stephen Lutz, Ann Lutz and her husband Nick Brown, William Lutz and his Fiancee Jess Talos, Rebecca Lutz, Mark Lutz and John Lutz. Great grandmother of six. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. She was a Financial Analyst for Grand Union, Wayne for fifteen years before retiring in 1998. Mrs. Erdmann was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson as well as a member of the Rosary Society there. She was a member of the St. Gerard Seniors as well as the St. Michael's Seniors. She was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Browns Mills, NJ. She was also an avid N.Y. Mets fan. She enjoyed reading, camping, and going on cruises. She cherished any time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, and her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday, February 15, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
