Obituary of Anthony F De Marco

De Marco, Anthony, 87, a Patersonian left this Earth peacefully for a better place on February 1, 2021. Tony loved his family and will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years Joan (nee: Elwood), children Frank of Paterson, Michael and Ann of West Milford, and Francesca and Joe Leonetti of North Haledon. He was predeceased by his son AD and sister Rose Marie. He was Grandpa to Emily, Anthony, Jake, Isabella, Thea and Mikey. His sister Francine and dozens of family members will also dearly miss their Uncle Sonny. Tony was a former attorney who spent more than 30 years helping others through the Academy of Professional Hypnosis and the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, where he served on their Executive Board. He loved All Creatures Great and Small, especially the several four legged friends he rescued. He never stopped dreaming. We will love him eternally. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
