Iversen, Charles "Charlie" P. age 77 of Little Falls at rest in Hackensack on January 14, 2014. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Spann) Iversen. Loving Father of Lorri Opitz and her husband Steve, Sheila Cantwell and her husband Terry and Charlene Castello. Dear son of Josephine. Grandfather of Nicole, Erin, Holly, Andrew, Colleen, Terry Jr., Jessie, and Dylan. Great Grandfather of Kimberly. Born and raised in Jersey City, Hudson County, he lived in Little Falls the past 30 years. He was a Plumber for William Zabransky, Jr. Inc., for twenty seven years. He was a member of Plumbers Union Local #14. In addition to Purdue University, Charlie attended Kean College, Rutgers University, William Paterson College and Fairleigh Dickinson University. After graduating as a certified Instructor from the UA Training Program at Purdue, he became an instructor at Plumbers Local #14 Training School for 10 years. He was the business agent in 1982 and the business manager administrator in 1996 for the union, before retiring in 2003. He was a lifelong avid Vikings fan. He volunteered for the P.A.L, and was an overall humanitarian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 3:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to START, Save The Animals Rescue Team, P.O.
