Vescio, Giovanni age 94 of Woodland Park at rest in Woodland Park on January 6, 2021. Beloved husband for 72 years of the late, Nicoletta Carmela (nee Mirabelli) Vescio (2018). Loving father of Maria DeSantis and her husband James of Woodland Park, and Tommaso "Phil" Vescio and his wife Judith of Woodland Park. Adoring grandfather of James J. DeSantis and his wife Mali, Renee Krukovsky and her husband Nick, Marisa Vescio, Jenna Vescio and her life partner Jim Noojin, and Noelle Fontanella and her husband James. Doting great-grandfather of Ian, Andrew, Matthew, and Erik Krukovsky, and Kai and Bodhi DeSantis. Loving brother of Raffaele Vescio and the late Domenico Vescio and the late Mariangela Vescio. Born in Sambiase, Italy, he lived in Italy for 30 years before immigrating to the United States. Upon arriving he resided in Paterson for 9 years before moving to Woodland Park. He was a Machine Operator / Foreman for Enterprise Corrugated Container Corp., Paterson, for 35 years before retiring. Mr. Vescio spent most of his time tending to his beautiful garden. He also enjoyed making wine and sauce, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. All funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
