Morero, Maria Antonietta (nee Mazza), age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on December 28, 2020. Beloved wife of Horacio Morero of Paterson. Loving mother of Vanna Morero-Calleja and her husband Damien of North Haledon and Michael Morero and his wife Christie of Wanaque. Adoring grandmother of Andre, Bobby, and Ava Morero and Charlotte Calleja. She was a wonderful and caring stay at home mother and grandmother. Born in Calabria, Italy, she lived in Italy for 17 years before emigrating to Argentina where she lived until 1969. After that Maria immigrated to the United States residing in Boston, MA for 8 years before finally settling in Paterson. She was a self-employed Hairdresser for 67 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
