Dear Bill, Muriel, Eileen and Families,
I was very sad to find out about your mom. She was one of the nicest people I knew and I have many happy memories of going to your house on Walnut Street.
My thoughts are with you.

I've come to meet and know a lot of people in my life, and one of my favorite people, one of the most special, was Muriel Yarcich. She was a hoot, with a great sense of humor, quick on the uptake, slightly and wonderfully irreverent when need be, and sharp as a tack. And a little stubborn :-) For some reason, I used to be able to make her laugh. And she had a great laugh! And for some reason she liked me, although I always told her that just proved that in spite of all her good qualities, she was a poor judge of character. She used to get a kick out of that, and she'd kinda squint a little and beam me a smile, just like her photo, and that smile I will remember for as long as I have a memory. And she was a tough old bird too, brave and strong with a spine of steel, and I don't think she'd mind me saying it; she didn't take any you know what from anyone. She lived a joyful, joyous life filled with love and dedication to helping others. And she would often tell me how lucky she'd been. Her husband Bill was as special as she was and they were happy together for over 65 years. She'd talk at times about how she missed him after he passed, but her faith was unshakable and she knew he was waiting for her. It makes me feel good to know the two of them are together again.
If this world were filled with people like Muriel Yarcich, and people like her husband Bill for that matter, then this world would be a much better place. And Mrs. Y, I just want to say that although the world is a little worse off with you gone, Heaven is a little better off with you there. Godspeed Mrs. Y. I'll always miss you. You were the best and you'll live in my heart as long as it beats.

So many years!!! I met Eileen when I was in 2nd grade and you soon after. 57 years! We shared Girl Scouts, the silver bells on the porch that were always a reminder that Christmas was coming soon, and my stopovers on Thanksgiving morning for your cherry cheesecake cupcakes. You were one of the brightest and most driven people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Nothing kept you down. Glad that you did the letter writing campaign in November and that our man and woman won!!! You will be missed but certainly never forgotten! Rest peacefully and smile on Inauguration Day! Love, Robin

We are so sad to hear of Muriel's passing. She was such a special lady. We worked many hours together at St Marys Bingo. Always laughing & joking all the time. She was a dedicated person and helped whenever & wherever she was needed. She was always smiling with an inner light/glow...so sorry to see that light go out. She will be missed by many.
