Obituary of Nino & Mimma Ruscigno

Ruscigno, Nino and Mimma (nee Convertino) of Totowa at rest in Ridgewood on December 24, 2020. Loving parents of Joseph Ruscigno & his fiancee Carmela Ambrosino of Totowa. Nino is survived by his brother, John B. Ruscigno & his wife, Maddalena of Woodland Park. Mimma is preceded in death by her siblings, Carmela Campanella, Comasia Maggi, Giuseppina Morelli, Beatrice Convertino, Maria Convertino, Lucia Veneziano, Martino Convertino and Giuseppe Convertino. Both Nino and Mimma are survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nino was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, came to the United States in 1974 residing in Paterson before moving to Totowa 34 years ago. He was the owner/proprietor for Nino's Glass & Mirror Co., Totowa from 1986-2004. Nino went to the 21st Ave, and Cianci St. Social Clubs and was an avid fisherman and hunter in his younger years. He used to play soccer in his youth. Mimma was born in Alberbello, Prov. di Bari, Italy, she came to the United States in 1965 residing in West Paterson before moving to Totowa 34 years ago. She was an employee of Berkshire General Store, Wayne for 15 years and worked for Style Coat Factory and was a member of the ILGWU. She was an avid sewer, and enjoyed tending to her vegetable and floral garden. She was a great cook. They were both parishioners of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa, and enjoyed the Jersey Shore, road trips and Atlantic City. They cherished time spent with their family and made friends with everyone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend their funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C.
