Obituary of Giovanni Nicola Gallo

Gallo, Giovanni Nicola age 87 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 6, 2020. Beloved husband of Italina (nee De Maria) Gallo of Wayne. Loving father of Angelina Kurpit and her husband Howard of Manhattan, Michael Gallo and his wife Stacy of Wayne, and Nicolino Gallo and his wife Nancy of Totowa. Dear brother of the late Sistina Gallo. Grandfather of Connor, Maya, Michael, Alyssa and Nicolino G. Gallo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Calabria, Italy, he came to the United States on March 23, 1974 and resided in Woodland Park before moving to Wayne. He was a self-employed construction worker for many years. Prior to that he worked in the Silk City Dye House, Paterson and for Sears Roebuck & Co., Wayne. He also worked in Rome, Switzerland and Sicily. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Road, Wayne on Thursday at 10:00 AM (please meet directly at the church). Entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.
