Hydera, Dorothy (nee Bogush), age 91 of Milford, Pa passed away peacefully on November 24, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Hydera. Loving mother of Pamela Cavallaro and her husband, Ralph of Oak Ridge, NJ and Deborah Chandler and her husband, James of Mebane, NC. Dear sister of Paul Bogush of Kulpmont, Pa. Devoted grandmother of David Cavallaro and Thomas Cavallaro, and great grandmother of Gabriella and Johannah Cavallaro. Born in Coal Township, Pa, she moved to Little Falls, NJ soon after marriage and lived there for 40 years, returning to Pennsylvania for her remaining 23 years.
Dorothy was a homemaker who also worked in manufacturing for Shulton and American Cyanamid in Clifton, NJ before retiring. Throughout her work years she enjoyed an annual weekend trip to New England with her girlfriends. Upon retirement she took an active role in caring for her grandchildren during their formative years. During her down time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, old movies and reading. While living in NJ she enjoyed going to Broadway musicals several times a year. Dorothy also enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the U.S.
She was known by family and friends as a kind, thoughtful woman. She always put others, especially her children and grandchildren, before herself. She will be deeply missed, and will continue to live in the hearts of her loved ones.
