Obituary of Vincenza Scaduto

Scaduto, Vincenza "Jennie" (nee Rusignuolo) age 89 of Bloomfield at rest in Cedar Grove, after a long illness, on November 20, 2020. Beloved wife of sixty six years of Dominick Scaduto of Bloomfield. Loving mother of Mary Picarelli and her Husband Domenic of Totowa and Philip Scaduto, M.D. and his wife Patricia Renz, M.D. of Denville. Dear grandmother of Anthony Picarelli and his wife Jamie, Matthew Picarelli and his Fiancee Erica, Christine Scaduto and Gregory Scaduto and his wife Jessica. Great grandmother of Theodore "Teddy" Scaduto. Sister of the late Charles Rusignuolo. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Newark, she lived in Bloomfield for most of her life. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Scaduto was a parishioner of St. Thomas R.C. Church, Bloomfield, and a member of the Rosary/Altar Society there. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and liked to visit Atlantic City. She enjoyed family vacations at the Jersey shore. She was a lifetime member of the Paper Mill Playhouse. Jennie was a devout Catholic and was dedicated to living her faith. Her life was dedicated to her family. Due to the continuing pandemic, services are private.
