Obituary of Domenica A Pelosi

Pelosi, Domenica “Minnie” A. (nee Pelosi) age 75 of Woodland Park passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 16, 2020. Beloved wife of 54 years to Silvio Pelosi of Woodland Park. Loving mother of Anna Marie De Luca & her husband Joseph of Woodland Park and Silvia Nin & her husband Raul of Woodland Park. Loving grandmother of Adriana De Luca, Michelle De Luca and Marchella De Luca. Dear sister of Antoinette De Feo of Florida and Carmelinda Pelosi of Virginia. She is also survived by her beloved pet dogs, Luca and Ariel and she loved spoiling them. Born in Serino, Prov. di Avellino, Italy, she came to the United States in 1954 settling in Paterson before moving to West Paterson in 2000. She was a Cafeteria Worker for Paterson Public Schools, School #9 for 20 years before retiring. Prior to that, she was the co-owner of Roma Beauty Salon, Elmwood Park. Minnie was a parishioner of St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson. She was a great cook and had a great sense of humor and loved to go shopping. Minnie enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and looked forward to family vacations. She cherished her family and any time spent with them. She lived for her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4-8 PM.
