Rivera, Ernesto D. "Ello" age 82 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on August 18, 2020. Loving father of Maribel Velazquez & her husband, Luis of Valrico, FL and Diana Copello & her husband, Jose of Totowa. Dear grandfather of Tristan, Leonardo, and Liam Velazquez, Arianna, Bianca, and Sebastian Copello. Devoted brother of Petra Rivera of Paterson, Virginia Rivera of Butler, Hilda Rivera of Puerto Rico, and Luis Rivera of Wisconsin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, he came to the mainland in 1956 residing in Miami, Florida, New York, Paterson, Totowa and Florida. He was a Maintenance Worker for various New Jersey Shopping Malls. Ello enjoyed traveling between Florida, Puerto Rico, and New Jersey. He was an avid walker. He loved to tend to his floral garden and loved to play dominoes with his nephews. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Interment at Cementerio Municipal del Duque, Naguabo, Puerto Rico.
