He was a Shipping Manager for Bomont Industries, Totowa, N.J. for 37 years before retiring in 1985. Mr. Stewart was a parishioner of St. Stephens R.C. Church, Paterson, N.J. He was a member of the Paterson Old Timers. He was a long time volunteer at Don Bosco Technical High School, Paterson and was inducted into the Don Bosco Tech Hall of Fame. He was a WW II Navy Veteran.
