Carol, so sorry to read that Stella is gone. She was a great friend to my mother Florence ever since their days at Montclair State, and I really enjoyed knowing her. She lit up everyone around her!

101 is still too young to let Aunt Stella leave this earth. She was an inspiration with her sharp wit and genuine concern with everything and everyone. Vinny and I were lucky enough to be able to host Aunt Stella in our home for the past few years, and she was a delight to have. Even though our house has way too many stairs in it, she would climb up and down, step over step with cane in hand and not be a bit nervous. We enjoyed her company and her conversation. She never failed to entertain and delight. From the time I was small I remember Aunt Stella dropping by my grandmother's house for a cup of coffee and conversation, and she always looked perfect and was always so welcome. I remember Uncle Oscar and his sweet disposition, and how highly both of my grandparents thought of both of these special people. We are saddened for ourselves, that we will not be able to be in Aunt Stella's company for now. But we are happy for the reunion she must be having with Uncle Oscar, Diane, Aunt Mary, Uncle Frank, Brother Mike and soooo many other relatives and friends who undoubtedly are ecstatic to see her. It's their turn now. We love you Aunt Stella.

I have so many, many dear memories of Aunt Stella - they would fill a book! Our mothers were 1st cousins. Aunt Stella has been in my life since I was born, all through my childhood, my teenage years, my adult years and even now in my elder years. I just loved talking to her - she was as bright as a shiny brand new penny and smarter than anyone I ever knew.I will keep her close in my heart always and forever. I miss her so-o-o-o much already. Life will not be the same without my Aunt Stella. I will end with a little private memory between aunt stella and me...dear aunt stella....I promise to never write
numbers on money! I MISS YOU - I KNOW YOU ARE IN PEACE NOW.

I will always remember Aunt Stella... from growing up in Paterson and visiting, to when I had Andrew and Jessica. She made it a point to drive from Secaucus to visit them both when they were just days old...She always kept us in her thoughts with periodic phone calls and cards. We are so fortunate to have had her in our lives and will miss her dearly.
