Petrozza, Vito age 76 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on April 17, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Anna (nee Venezia) Petrozza (2018). Loving father of Maria Carmela Butler and her husband Charlie of Fairfield and the late Pasquale Petrozza (2008). Also survived by three sisters, three brothers, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Montescaglioso, Prov di Bari, Italy, he came to the United States in 1971 settling in Paterson. He was the owner/proprietor of P&S Variety Center, Paterson for many years. After that, he worked at his brother's Hardware store, Peoples Park Hardware, Paterson. Mr. Petrozza was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Paterson. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and watching world soccer. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Out of respect and concern for public health and safety and the current mandate for social distancing, all funeral services will be private. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
