Obituary of Reinaldo Torres

Torres, Reinaldo "Rey" age 58 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on April 2, 2020. Beloved husband of Carmen (nee Agosto) Torres of Paterson. Loving father of Minerva Torres of Paterson. Dear son of Olga Luz (nee Ayala) Torres and the late Reinaldo Torres. Grandfather of Tiana Marie Cruz. Brother of Madeline Pasiano of PR, Olga Luz of Reading, PA, Carmelo Pasiano, Jr of Reading, PA and Pedro Luis Torres of PR. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he came to the mainland in 1980 and settled in Paterson. He was a Truck Driver for Resources Trucking Co., North Bergen since 2008. Mr. Torres was a parishioner of St. Stephen's R.C. Church, Paterson for 18 years, and a parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, Paterson for 10 Years. He was a member of the Teamster's Union Local #210. He raised his granddaughter as her father and was active in the charismatic prayer group. He was an avid NY Yankee fan, as well as a NASCAR fan. He always spent his time with his family, and cherished every moment. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Michael's R.C.
