Beloved father of Danielle Steffen of Port Orange, FL., Jamie Cortese of Owings Mills, MD. and Michael Cortese of FL. Loving son of Lena (nee Phillips) Cortese and the late Vincent A. Cortese. Dear grandfather of Peter and Noell Steffen and Taylor Cortese. Brother of Debra Cortese of Wayne, Janis Cortese-Tollis of Ringwood and the late Donna Spinziano. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson before moving to Plainfield. He was an Employee for the Bergen Record, Advertising Department, Woodland Park. Mr. Cortese was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa on Friday at 11:00 AM. Inurnment of cremains at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa have been entrusted with the arrangements.
