Obituary of Providenza Russo

Russo, Providenza (nee Targia), age 85 of Woodland Park at rest in Wayne on February 3, 2020. Born in Palermo, Italy she came to the United States on September 10, 1972 residing in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Paterson in 1977, then to Woodland Park in 1980. She was a Seamstress for Lido Fashions, Paterson before retiring. Mrs. Russo was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. Beloved wife of Domenico Russo. Loving mother of Josephine Martino and her husband Alfonso of Succasunna, Maria Loganchuk of Pompton Plains and the late Lucia Russo (2010). Dear grandmother of Samira Small and her husband Dylan, Samantha Loganchuk, Faiez Abuali, Veronica Loganchuk and Alyssa Loganchuk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in the USA and in Italy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 - 9:00 PM.
