Obituary of Frances Ciuppa

Ciuppa, Frances, "Frannie" (nee Cielo), age 94 of Wayne, formerly of Paterson at rest in Wayne on January 24, 2020. Beloved mother of Susan Mariconda and her husband Stephen Mariconda of Forked River and Linda M. Cleri and her husband Dr. Dennis Cleri of Wayne. Loving grandmother of Stephanie Mariconda Esq. of Jersey City, Nicole Tartaglia and her husband Frank of Montvale and Michelle Mariconda and her Fiance Lauren Kelly of Brooklyn, NY. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and her beloved pet grand puppies, Spencer, Bentley, Maggie and Cooper and her grand kitten Rory. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Wayne eighteen years ago. She was a Sales Person for Fortunoff Department Store, Wayne for twenty years before retiring in 1997. Frannie was an avid NY Yankee fan and was Fan of the Day. She loved to crochet. She was a great cook and she loved to bake. In her early years, she was an avid Bowler. She enjoyed to travel and take trips to Atlantic city where she enjoyed the slot machines. Frannie acquired good friends while working at Fortunoff and was a great joke teller. She cherished all of the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00–8:00 PM.
