Obituary of Michael P Pasquale

Pasquale, Michael "Mike" P., Sr., age 83 of Greenacres, FL at rest in Paterson on January 10, 2020. Beloved husband of Joyce C. Suto (nee Picariello) of Fair Lawn. Loving father of James Pasquale and his wife Laura of Kissimmee, FL, Deborah Mc Dougal and her husband James of Arlington, TX, Diana Stinson and her husband Ben of Glen Gardner, Michael Pasquale Jr., and his wife Amanda of Virginia Beach, VA, and Scott Suto and his wife Kristin of Fair Lawn. Adoring grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Sandra Sabo and her husband Bob of Naples, FL and Marie Peters and her husband Bob of Whiting. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson most of his life, then in Hawthorne and Fair Lawn before moving to Greenacres, FL in 2000. He was a Detective Sergeant for the Paterson Police Department for 29 years before retiring in 1994. Mr. Pasquale was a member of the Paterson PBA Local #1. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #240, Paterson. He was an avid golfer and a NY Giants fan. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paterson PBA Local #1, Paterson and/or to the Child Life Department St. Joseph's Children's Hospital 4 Playroom 703 Main Street, Paterson, NJ 07503.
