I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of 'Carminuzzu'. He and my late father Giuseppe were great friends and they spoke regularly on the phone. When I worked in New York a few years ago I have the fondest memories of him taking me to a proper Italian restaurant. I shall never forget his wine cellar when I visited his home one Sunday for dinner, it was extraordinary! He gave me some bottles to take with me. A generous, wise and kind man. I shall raise a glass of red in his memory.

I only knew you a little bit growing up as friends with your nephews Frank and Carmen. I remember the wonderful times when you would all gather at Frank’s house in North Haledon. You were truly a wonderful Uncle to them. You will be sadly missed and God Bless you on your journey.

It still does not seem real to me. My Uncle Carmen was the most generous, and caring person I ever met. He was an inspiration to me. So many great memories, holidays and vacations.
He taught me a lot about being a business man and about life lessons . I am proud and grateful to have had him in my life and to have had him as my uncle. He left me so many fond memories and gifts.
Rest In Peace Uncle Carmen.

Carmelo, era un uomo originale, leale ed onesto.
Molto legato al suo paese Natale (Racalmuto) ed agli amici, sapeva farsi volere bene da tutti con i suoi modi semplici e delicati.
Mi mancherai.

I met Carmelo a few years ago. I immediately appreciated his great humanity. Carmelo was an American but he sometimes missed his Italy. In these years he has told me many anecdotes about his life in Italy. It was always a pleasure for me to chat with him. A big hug to Cristina and Maria
