Tedesco, Ottavia (nee Bufi), age 83 of Woodland Park at rest in Wayne on May 20, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Nicola Tedesco (1999). Loving mother of Luigi "Gino" Tedesco and his wife Maria of Woodland Park. Dear grandmother of Giuseppe and Sonny and his wife Laura. Great grandmother of Sara. Sister of Sabina Bruno and the late Lazzaro Bufi (2003). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Molfetta, Prov. di Bari, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1952 settling in Hoboken, then Union City before moving to Woodland Park in 1995. She was a Seamstress for Global Inc., Brooklyn, NY. for many years as well as working for various garment factories in Hoboken. Mrs. Tedesco enjoyed tending to her floral garden. She was a great cook. She cherished time spent with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
