Brother of Grace Eckhardt and the late John Novak. Grandfather of Cathy, Laura, Christine, Steven, Lisa and Tara. He was a Machinist for Star Stainless Steel Polishing Company, Totowa, NJ for 35 years before retiring in 1981. He was a parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ and was a WW II Navy veteran. Preceeding him in death was his brother: John Novak Survivors include his wife: The former Dorothea Ridge of Paterson, NJ 2 sons: James Novak of Montville, NJ, Joseph Novak of South Portland, MA 2 daughters: Patricia Dombrowski of Clinton, NJ, Margaret Pryor of Verona, NJ A sister: Grace Eckhardt of Totowa, NJ Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
