Monday, February 11, 2019I have many fond memories of Ellen from my childhood as Mike was on my father’s PAL Baseball teams for many years. I will remember Mrs. Ametrano as a dedicated mother who was always willing to help out, whether it was in the snack bar, or even in the dugout. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her. May she be at peace. You’re all in my prayers.

Thursday, February 7, 2019Ellen was a wonderful woman. I am proud to say I am friends with her son, Michael. Ellen allowed Michael to have myself and a bunch of friends into her house for a fun weekend party, and she put up with our shenanigans. Despite the annoyance that we must have caused her, she was always offering food and making sure her guests were comfortable. Her son Michael is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, and that is proof positive of how wonderful Ellen must have been as a mother. Rest in peace, Ellen
