As I reflect upon my deep personal connections to my Grandfather, I am proud to be a third generation US Army Soldier. My Grandfather was from the greatest generation, and I thank him for the lives he saved and the freedom he protected. The greatest honor of my military career was being with Grandad in Fort Hamilton, NY, where I saw his passion for life and freedom, and for a moment I felt the history that he bravely lived. I am most proud to honor his legacy by remembering his love of family, and passing on his values of absolute love, commitment and honest work. Thank you Grandad for leading our family, setting the example, and giving me the chance to be a man as honorable as you. I pray for all of my family, and may my Gram, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins know that Grandad lives forever through us. God Bless You All.
Jason.

I remember my father-in-law as a kind, generous, respectful and caring man. I've enjoyed listening to the many stories he told about all his children including the mischievous ones about my husband Bryan. He could certainly make you laugh at the stories he told. I remember him showing us the photos he had taken through the years. They were quite exceptional. But then he was an exceptional man. He also told stories of when he was in the war which was extremely interesting to hear from someone first hand. I will miss visiting with him but he will always be in my heart.
Love,
Robin

My sincerest condolences to the entire family in the loss of your husband/father/grandfather/great-grandather. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I commend and thank him, as another WWII veteran, for his service and commitment to our country. I have fond memories of him and to the long and dedicated friendship with my parents. He was a good man and has left behind quite a legacy in all of you. May your memories and family strength bring you peace and comfort during this time.
