Sperling, Richard age 84 of Totowa at rest in Glen Ridge on January 29, 2019. Beloved husband of Viola (nee Pulk) Sperling of Totowa. Loving father of Karen DelleCava and her husband Patrick of Wayne, Geraldine Sperling of Pompton Lakes and David Sperling of Little Falls. Dear grandfather of Patrick, Nicholas and Lindsay. Brother of Ed Sperling of Smithville. Born in Paterson, he lived in Clifton before moving to Totowa. He was a Facility Manager for Interbake Foods, Elizabeth before retiring. Prior to that, he was a Gold Seal Engineer for Hoffmann LaRoche, Nutley for many years. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa and the Elks Lodge, Mountainside. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
