Carrea, Richard M. age 91 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on January 25, 2019. Beloved husband of the late and former Julia Fernandi (2012). Loving father of Karen Savacool and her husband Wes of Hawthorne, and Richard Carrea and his wife Laurie of Leonardo. Adoring grandfather of Gary Savacool, Daniel Savacool and his wife Ivonne, Dominic Carrea, and Jack Carrea. Brother of the late Muriel Marinacci. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Totowa 25 years ago. He was an employee of Singer Kearfott, Woodland Park for 34 years before retiring. He was also a Passaic County Constable. Mr. Carrea was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa and he is a United States Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN, 38105, would be appreciated.
