DeSisinno, Frank age 92 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on January 25, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Frieda (nee Oeckel) DeSisinno (2007). Loving father of Terry Platvoet & her husband Don of Woodland Park, Eileen Mc Partland & her husband Tom of East Stroudsburg, PA and the late Robert Tiegen (1976). Brother of Lucy Del Vecchio of Totowa. Dear grandfather of Michelle Sewell & her husband Paul, Nicholas La Vacca & his wife Barbara, Aileen Whitney & her husband Greg, Donald Platvoet & his wife Kathy, Frank Platvoet & his wife Erin and Laura Varcadipane & her husband Vinnie. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Queens, NY, he lived in Bronx, NY before moving to Totowa in 1994. He worked for the Rail Road Department for Penn Station Manhattan, NY. After that he was an appliance salesman for Vida Appliances, Bronx NY for many years. He was also an employee for Bergen County Health Department, Paramus. Mr. DeSisinno was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a member of the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. He was a member of the Totowa Seniors and was an avid Yankee fan. He also enjoyed Atlantic City and the Meadowlands Raceway. He owned horses and loved to travel. He was also in the US Navy Armed Guard during WW II. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
