Obituary of Enrique Y Reyes

Reyes, Jr., Enrique Y. "Jake" age 86 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on January 22, 2019. Beloved husband of fifty nine years of the former Amparo Yabut of Paterson. Loving father of Gemeric Reyes and his wife Lourdes of Manila, Philippines, Gilbert Reyes and his wife Ellen of Baltimore, MD. and the late Gerry Reyes (2015) and his wife Melissa. Dear grandfather of Gino, Giam, Gila, Gionna. Patricia, Brian, Mishiko, Betina and Jake Reyes. Great grandfather of Alexis, Chui and Cielo. Brother of Fe Abella, Jaime Reyes, Tony Reyes, all of Manila and the late Paquito Reyes. Born in Manila, Philippines he came to the U.S.A. in 1969 settling in New York, N.Y. before moving to Paterson in 1971. He was a Branch Administrator for Met Life, Hackensack for many years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Reyes was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a member and President of the Maharaj, New Jersey Chapter. He enjoyed to travel with his wife. He enjoyed the beach as well as visiting Atlantic City, and was an avid N.Y. Knicks fan. Cremation will be private.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson on February 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM
