Dillon, Joseph D. age 86 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on January 3, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Katherine A. (nee Carter) Dillon. Loving father of Louie Caraballo of Boonton. Dear uncle of Denise Thierwechter of Montville, Diane Dillon of Clifton, Darlene Brigito of West Milford, and Raymond Dillon of Rutherford,. Devoted brother in law of Eleanor Dillon of Wayne. Survivors include many great nieces. Born in Paterson, he lived in East Stroudsburg, PA for most of his life before moving to Wayne. He was a Foreman for the Bricklayers Union, Hackensack for many years before retiring. He belonged to the YMCA of East Stroudsburg, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Fr.
