Obituary of Liberata Mannisi

Mannisi, Liberata, "Libby" (nee Scevola), age 85 of Bethlehem, PA at rest in Allentown, PA on December 18, 2018. Beloved wife of sixty five years of Peter Mannisi of Bethlehem, PA. Loving mother of John Mannisi MD and his wife Barbara of Bethlehem, PA and Alfonso Mannisi and his wife Donna of Denville. Dear grandmother of Lisa Mannisi and Peter Mannisi. Great grandmother of Giovanni "Geo" Nikolao. Sister of Luisa Petrella of Lincoln Park. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Ferrara, Prov. di Avellino, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1947 settling in Paterson, then Franklin Lakes before moving to Bethlehem, PA in 2003. She was a Seamstress for Various Coat Factories in Paterson before retiring in 1976. After that, she worked with her husband in their Liquor Store, C&S Liquors, Paterson for fifteen years retiring in 1991. She touched the lives of many. Libby will forever be remembered for her kind and generous spirit and sweet sense of humor, but more importantly for the unconditional love and support that she bestowed to her loved ones. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 -8:00 PM.
