Obituary of Vincentina Courtney

Courtney, Vincentina (nee Affinito), age 76 of Hawthorne at rest in Paterson on December 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John Jay Courtney (2015). Dear daughter of the late James and the late Lillian (nee Fredericks) Affinito. Sister of James Affinito and his wife Neila. Loving aunt of James Affinito, Michael Affinito, Kellie Affinito, Rebecca Affinito, Jessica Affinito, Paloma Affinito, and Julia Affinito. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, then in Pompton Plains, then back to Paterson before finally moving to Hawthorne. She was a credit analyst for Union Camp, Wayne for 30 years before retiring in 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America at vva.org/donate. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 5th at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
