Obituary of Gregory J. Hopper

Hopper, Gregory J. age 61 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on October 11, 2018. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident of Paterson. He worked in the shipping department for Harris Corp., Nutley for the past 40 years. Mr. Hopper also worked for member services for Costco, Clifton. He was a lifelong Mets Fan and was an amazing, generous, hard- working man who was loved by all who met him. He was an amazing father, son, brother and friend. Loving father of Gregory J. Hopper Jr. of Riverdale, Steven J. Hopper of Paterson, Kelly Catena of Riverdale, Maria J. Hopper of Union City, CA and Nicole Hopper of Paterson. Dear son of Noreen (nee Gorman) Hopper of Paterson and the late Art Hopper. Brother of David Hopper of Bloomfield, and the late Robert Hopper. Loving grandfather of Kylie and Kelsie Hopper, Dylan Catena and Avelina Rojas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
