Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson, NJ on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM under the direction of Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, NJ Alice was born on Nov. 5th, 1925 in Clifton, N.J. After graduating from Clifton High School she went on to take business classes. Then thru a blind date met and married her husband Felix. They raised 4 children living in Paramus, NJ and later built their second home in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Alice was a devoted mother and wife, her joy was all things family. In 1965 as Felix built his career he moved the family to Greensboro, NC. As the children grew Alice was able to explore her talents and develop activities she enjoyed. She was always an avid cook and kept perfecting those skills with cooking classes and providing amazing meals for her family. Her connection with great neighbors and friends led to enjoying many hours of tennis, gin rummy and bridge. She loved the sport of golf, as did Felix, and she played in many tournaments at Carlson Farms Country Club with her best friends. A highlight for her was winning the tournament in 1969 with her closest friends as teammates. This love for the sport lead to a second home in the Sandhills area of NC at Woodlake, where the family spent much time gathering for Easter Holidays, Birthdays and any weekend they could, to golf, swim, fish, boat and make many amazing family memories. Alice was also a talented artist and show cased this skill thru her china painting. Family & friends delighted in her knitting skills from doll clothes, to sweaters, to afghans. Anyone who received one of her "knitted with love" afghans knew they were special and truly cherished them. She traveled to many countries enjoying exciting places with her husband, family and friends. Another dream of hers as a young woman was to become a nurse, and although that dream did not come to fruition, she took this humanitarian passion and volunteered in the Health department at Page High School and the Cerebral Palsy school in Greensboro. As the family business grew, Alice joined in and used her artist skills in the Art Department at Royal Carolina. One by one her children entered the business and continued the bond of family that was her greatest joy. Alice is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Felix A. Euforbia. Surviving are 4 children, Felix N.(Beth), Sandra Curtis(Roger), Alice Parker(David), Carol Mullally(Dan); 5 Grandchildren, Phil Jr., Allison, Daniel, Drew, Anna; 5 Great Grandchildren and special companion, Zineta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, Alzheimer's Association of Western N.C. or Susan G. Komen, Northwest. N.C.
