Obituary of Michael John Shadiack

Shadiack, Michael John Sr., age 93 of Paterson at rest on September 21, 2018. Beloved husband of the late & former Josephine Baratta (1988). Loving father of Louis Shadiack & his wife Denice of Paterson, Catherine Baldini & her husband Joseph III of Tinton Falls, and Michael Shadiack Jr. & his wife Kathleen of Kinnelon. Dear son of the late Louis and the late Mary (nee Altonjy) Shadiack. Dear grandfather of Michael Shadiack & his wife Generosa, Jolene Barnaby & her husband Valentine, Joseph Baldini IV & his wife Vasiliki, Michael Baldini & his wife Veronica, Brian Shadiack & his wife Heather, Scott Shadiack & his wife Kristen, and Kevin Shadiack. Adoring great-grandfather of Louis, Anthony, Rocco, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas, Violet, Isabella, Benjamin, Harper, Dallas, Logan, and Peyton. Michael is predeceased by his siblings, James Shadiack, Stephen Shadiack & his wife Doris, Joseph Shadiack & his wife Emily, George Shadiack & his wife Harriet, Edward Shadiack, Sr., Thomas Shadiack, Antoinette DeStefano & her husband Paul, and Catherine Shadiack. Michael is also survived by sister's in-law Antoinette Pelosi Shadiack and Antoinette Kalosieh Shadiack, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived there for his entire life. He was a partner in the Shadiack Brother's retail Grocery and oil delivery businesses in Paterson, for 50 years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Shadiack was a member of the John Raad Post. He was also a member of the Sacred Heart Men's Society. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Brendan's R.C. Church, Clifton at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 28, 2018. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
