Obituary of Jacklyn A Piccirillo

Please share a memory of Jacklyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness to announce the death of our mother, Jacklyn A. Piccirillo. Born on October 1, 1934, in Paterson NJ, she was the loving daughter of the late John and Marie Lysaght and sister to the late Margaret, Jane and Evelyn Lysaght. In 1955 she married the love of her life, the late Maurice (Pic) F. Piccirillo, and they spent the next 51 cherished years together until his passing in 2006. Settled in Totowa Borough, moving to Little Falls in 1996, Jacklyn was employed by the Local 464 Meat Cutters Union during her working years. Jacklyn was a loving mother of two daughters, Rosanne and Jacklyn (Jackie), and provided a loving and fun childhood for her daughters which transcended throughout their adult lives. She was the proud grandmother to her only grandson, her boy Jack, and mother-in-law to Kevin. She enjoyed all family gatherings, holidays and vacations, creating an atmosphere of home wherever family and friends were gathered; most especially beloved were her trips with family to Marco Island, FL. She is survived by her daughters, Jacklyn Piccirillo and Rosanne Hanley, grandson Jack Hanley and son-in-law Kevin Hanley. She is now at peace for eternity with her husband, Pic, so that their love story can continue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 2:00 - 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 and/or the American Kidney Fund 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010 Rockville, MD 20852, would be appreciated.
