Benjamin’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

I was Mr. Bello's VA social worker for almost four years. I always enjoyed my visits with him and his devoted daughter. Although he was bedridden, Mr. Bello's charm always "shined through". In reading about his heroic service during WWII, I realized that another Veteran I worked with had been imprisoned at St. Thomas College in Manila which Mr. Bello fought to liberate. He certainly exemplified "the greatest generation".
I extend my sincere condolences to Mr. Bello's family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Bello for the past 5 years. He was a wonderful man who bore his infirmities with great patience, and every time I saw him he would smile and give me a snappy military salute. I send my deepest condolences to his family.
